Cozure

One of my favorite projects this year was getting to work with Cozure. Cozure is a luxury fashion brand brought to life by Tan Gopal. Watching this come to life has been so inspirational, not just for me, but for others too.  

Tan shared the process she’s been through from dreaming up her first product to getting it manufactured in Italy, and everything else she’s done to create her brand onour podcast too. 

For the Cozure Shopify site, we wanted to create something that was really thoughtful to encompass the care and love Tan has poured into creating her brand and clothing line. 

Tan’s biggest worry about Shopify was learning how to use the platform. Her original website was built on Squarespace and she felt really comfortable using it. However, there are a lot of limitations to using Squarespace for e-commerce. Shopify is ultimately the best choice for most small product-based businesses. (I’ve talked about this on the podcast too.Listen here.) Plus you can easily export your data from Squarespace to migrate to Shopify, just be prepared to do a little bit of reformatting. 

Our signature Shopify package was the perfect choice for Cozure. This package is based on a premium theme and then we customize it for your business. Even though this website is built on my favorite Shopify theme, Impulse, it feels like it was 100% built for Cozure. We also did extra customizations to give her a custom blog layout, product pages, and a handful of internal pages.
